During the holiday, I came across an article of several pages on American Digital. It was explaining the concept of parallel universes. Though, I was reluctant to start it I found myself re-reading again after the first “trial”. And yes: that article was amazing for three reasons. Firstly, it treats highly complicated physics equations like the wave function and Schrödinger equation as common sensed things –though they are not. So, I understood it very easily after three or four readings (my record with a scientific text) and I could re-explain it again. Secondly, the theory is quite convincing. They say that it has already been proven by physicists that many other universes exist out there –no debate on that issue. Now, the important question was: how many of you are out there? Hum. It started to become interesting. For the math they suggest that exactly at 10 to 10 power 28 meters from where you are reading this article, there is another “you” reading the same article, leaving the same life, having the same dreams for Africa as you do… personally, that information was shocking. It literally hurt my human ego. Frankly, I had always dreamed to be unique because that’s gave me an identity, something to refer to. Now, these guys were claiming that 10 to 10 power 28 meters from me there is another me who also has another me 10 to 10 power 28 who also….. Considering that the universe is infinite, all these me constituted an attack to my-self-identification-criteria. Anyway, I managed to get through this deception and to convince myself of my uniqueness until I unfortunately I meet this other theoretical me. Finally, what I like mostly in that article is that most of the things that are said there cannot be proven. Only few are certain as the expansion of the universe or the existence of other universes. From their theory, universe was divided in five big layers or level. Each level had it own characteristics and it own rules. The funny part is that even if you travel with the light speed, you will never get to the second level considering that you are from the closest level (the first one). Another example is that when you take a decision being in the second layer, all the other possibilities create identical “me” who will do what you decided not to do. Thinking to it that it billions of universes that you create by just saying: “I will go to play Frisbee instead of table tennis of volley ball”. It sounds unrealistic. But that’s what science is about! Imagine beyond the possible. Are you going to continue reading my posts? No matter what decision you will take, remember that somewhere some else will do the opposite. Now, I can proudly claim to be the owner of the most read blog in the universe. Physicists rock!!!!

Why did I start Scientific Research?!
<<What is time? >>. That is the challenging question that has been asked by Antony to an irresponsive
audience during the last scientific research presentation. For most of the people, that was a simple
question part of a presentation but for me that was more than a random query: that was my first
contact with the fabulous world of Quantum Physics! the concept developed were not only grandiose
but also disturbing. Disturbing because they were against my formal conception of the world. Disturbing
because in a fraction of second, they destroyed years of physics study on which I had built a solid
conviction and model of the world. I spent the whole night reading physics books, watching videos on
quantum physics, questioning Jean on the nature of this new subject for me. i had a lot of questions
but not enough responses. At the end of the next day, a Sunday, I was “intellectually lost” due to all
the quantum theories I had “discovered”: consciousness, Schrodinger’s cat experiment, double slit
experiment, the measurement problem…. The implications were too difficult to admit. A particle
behave differently when we decide to look at it namely when we decide to be conscious of its existence,
otherwise it doesn’t exist! Since we are made of particles, does it imply that we are the ones creating
our own reality? I don’t know. I started at this moment to doubt about what I had considered as
reality since I “exist”. Beyond the consequences it has on my behavior, I saw a bigger implication for
Africa as an entire continent! It is written on the dollar: <<in God we trust>> as symbol of American
power. America imposed its reality (its power) to the world. it is now a superpower. It is said in Africa:
<<Africans have been cursed by God>>. a fact that most of the people9african particularly) believe
in. the common belief has become a REALITY! Africa is super poor. According to quantum physics, we
create the Reality. Does it mean that it can explain development? I don’t know. Does it mean quantum
physics can explain Africa’s situation. Nobody did a research on that! Unfortunately, my physics teacher
cannot help me because he didn’t know that much about geography and development. Also, My
Geography teacher cannot answer me because she doesn’t know anything about quantum theory. That
is the kind of answer that can only be found in a scientific research class and that I would be working on.
